On October 26 2002, Rollie Clark, Rick Evans and Ed Ivany had a get together in London Ontario. Old Burger and the Bitts tapes were played, pictures swapped and a short jam followed.
We all had common stories of people approaching us with their fond memories of this unique high school rock 'n' roll band even after 30 plus years have passed.
"Bumper" Bradbury could not be found for this event and was missed.I'm sure his memories and presence would have added a great deal to our weekend.
Of course, the passing of Neil Chambers on Sept.8 1999 was noted as a great loss not only to us but to his family, fans and all musicians who had the pleasure of knowing and performing with him.
I don't know how many times we played this song, but "As Tears Go By" will always strike a special chord in all of our hearts. It is the evening of your day Neil. R.I.P.
So hence this site is for you-the fans who remember the magic and all the wonderful times and places we all shared.
